Love God. Love Japan.

Trying to help someone hurting that’s right beside you is do-able, but when there’s an ocean between you, it’s hard to know how to help. Although we can try to make an excuse of how we don’t have to help, God expects us to do something. God mentions helping the less fortunate and poor numerous times in the bible. He calls on the church to step up.

Here’s what us girls can do….
Number one is pray! Pray for the people but also pray for the missionaries. People are hurting and it’s a time where the church can promote the comfort and peace that Christ gives.
Pray for revival! The UPCI has 3 listed missionaries to Japan. Check out their sites and add them to your prayer list!

Find sites that sell clothing that the proceeds help support Japan, so when you’re buying what you need you’re also helping someone in need. Even if you don’t have money to spare you want to donate clothing. All Fast-Retailing-owned stores worldwide, including , Theory, and Comptoir des Cotonniers will soon house donation boxes where customers can drop off used garments.

Remember this:
1 John 3:17 (King James Version)
17But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

God loves Japan and the people in it. God is not an American, he loves the whole world. Let’s open up our hearts and our lives to help those who God loves. Remember Japan is not just a country or a piece of land… but it is people!

Let’s love God and love Japan.
